Buffet Children’s Museum

Since 1999, Buffet Children’s Museum has been conceived as a place where children and art can meet.
Children can feel closer and enjoy the art and the work of Bernard Buffet, by playing and fully exerting their five senses.

In Buffet Children’s Museum, children can get acquainted with fine arts by playing.
For example, in the “Disguise Corner”, children will love to get dressed like the clowns in Buffet’s paintings. The experience is amusing and arouses their interest: this is a way to start a dialogue between the children and the works to be found in the museum gallery. The “French Kitchen” and the “Revolving Puzzle” also allow the children to get spontaneously familiar with Buffet’s works.

In workshops, the museum offers original programmes planned not only to be educational but also to be enjoyable so that children have fun and find their own place in the museum.
